Linda Pollock is a nationally certified and licensed massage therapist. A fervent advocate of bodywork for healing and balance, her areas of specialty include sports and accident injury rehabilitation, along with massage for improving performance/endurance, and chronic pain and pain/stress management programs. She is a graduate of the Connecticut Center of Massage Therapy and brings over fourteen years of experience to her practice. She has established a cooperative relationship with other health care practitioners in the Farmington Valley - those with alternative approaches as well as those with more traditional "western medicine" philosophies.
Ann is a nationally certified and Connecticut Licensed Massage Therapist. She is a graduated of the Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy Association. Ann has 12 years of experience as an Intuitive Energy Healer and has received training in CranioSacral Therapy. She provides a full range of massage and subtle energy modalities for her clients. Combining modalities can assist in awakening and supporting body, mind and spirit balance and wellness.
Bev is a nationally certified and licensed massage therapist. A graduate of the Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy, her interests are in relaxation, deep tissue and energy work. She comes to massage therapy after a long and successful career in teaching, and is following up on her deep and abiding interest in alternative health modalities.
Carol Sullivan, LMT Carol Sullivan is a Nationally Certified and State Licensed massage therapist, who graduated from the accelerated Practitioner Program at The Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy in April 2001. She has been practicing at Back In Touch since June of that year. In March 2002 Carol completed the Master Level training for Usui Reiki in Tulum, Mexico.
Carol offers complete Reiki sessions, and also combines this energy modality within her massage protocols. In June of 2010 Carol attended the Level II course in Medicinal Aromatherapy from Wisdom Of The Earth in Cornville, AZ. She now offers different session options using these medicinal grade tree and plant essences.
Chris is a nationally certified and licensed massage therapist. Drawn to massage for its mind-body connection and deep relaxation benefits, she quickly became devoted to helping others discover the power of bodywork. Awarded for excellence, a graduate of The Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy, and a member of The American Massage Therapy Association. She brings a down-to-earth self-help energy to everyone she touches.
Darla is a certified practicing Hand and Foot Reflexologist who has been practicing with Back In Touch since 2001. She has studied with Christa Hricko of Greenfield, Massachusetts and her training consists of Level 1 Reiki along with a Certification in Hand and Foot Reflexology. These reflex points in the hands and feet play important roles in keeping the body balanced and healthy. Darla completed Psychic Remembrance training (Psychic & Mediumship Development) with The Purple Rose Healing Center on July 20, 2010.
Gabrielle is a board certified holistic health practitioner and has received specialized training in the areas of Transformational Energy Healing, Level II Reiki, and Medicinal Aromatherapy. Her belief in the benefits of holistic care and the mind/body/spirit connection originally brought her to Back in Touch as a client. She is grateful to now be able to share her gifts in that same healing space. Gabrielle's deep connection and reverence to Mother Nature can be seen in her photography and experienced during her healing sessions.
Gail Altschwager
Gail is a certified practicing Reiki Master Teacher who has been practicing since 2002. She has studied with Evangeline Cathcart. Beth Lipton and Joyce Palumbo. Reiki is a Japanese energy work system that enhances the client's own healing abilities and brings deep relaxation.
Ginger Harris
Ginger holds a master's in Acupuncture from Tai Sophia Institute in Laurel, MD and previously worked for a number of years in the Therapeutic Arts field. Using her artistic bent, she blends long-term interests in wellness, the natural world, shamanism, martial arts, and creative expression into her practice. Currently working towards national certification and CT licensure in acupuncture, she offers acupressure treatment to support well-being and harmonize the body, mind, and spirit. Acupressure is a traditional Chinese touch therapy involving the application of manual pressure to stimulate key points on the surface of the body. Treatment is aimed at relieving symptoms, boosting immunity, increasing energy levels, and enhancing relaxation. Ginger draws on experience with shiatsu, zero-balancing, trigger point/myotherapy, and Reiki in addition to her training in Five Element acupuncture. She is excited to work in partnership with you as you reconnect with your body’s deep wisdom and discover your potential for improved wellness!
